How Do I Take Care Of My New Dental Crown Or Bridge?

Your new dental crown/bridge will need to be taken care of just as you would your natural teeth. This means you will need to brush and floss twice daily in the area, your dentist will demonstrate how to do this following your treatment.

We advise that you avoid eating any hard foods in the area of the new Dental Crown or Bridge for 24 hours immediately after placement. The cement used to bond the dental crown/bridge continues to set and mature for approximately 24 hours to achieve optimum strength.

If you experience mild sensitivity to hot or cold foods do not be concerned. The sensations will improve gradually over the next 4 – 6 weeks.

Dentist & Doctors is by far the best in dentistry in our area. Dr Matt and Dr Asef make you feel very welcome to their Practice. Nothing is too much bother for them and they are more than happy to explain the procedures in detail and answer any questions you may have. I had 4 – 3 hour sessions to do the prep work and fit crowns to my very worn out teeth. I was made to feel very comfortable during those sessions with staged breaks along the way. The final results are amazing. My Good Wife Bon is very pleased with the end result too. Happy Wife, Happy Life! Amazing service from Dr Pascale at the dentist. My son, who has severe anxiety, was made to feel very calm during a procedure. He was always told what was happening and always given a chance to stop. The ladies at the front desk have always been helpful and it doesn’t smell like a dentist! I recommend this place to those that have anxious children or are anxious themselves.
